Should I take Betaine with Pepsin when I consume Paleo Protein - Chocolate?
You may not need to take Betaine with Pepsin or any other digestive enzymes when consuming the Paleo Protein - Chocolate. The protein source, HydroBEEF™, is a highly concentrated pure beef protein, which is produced through an exclusive proprietary process that allows the protein to be hydrolyzed into more peptides, resulting in easier absorption and assimilation. However, those who experience digestive symptoms may find Betaine with Pepsin support helpful, at a lower dose than taken with other protein-containing meals.*

Not to be used by those with a corn allergy, or those who have been advised to follow a low protein diet, such as people with phenylketonuria, homocystinuria, or advanced kidney disease. Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients in this supplement or if you are taking any of the following medications: antihypertensive drugs, corticosteroids, lithium, sodium-containing drugs, and/or tolvaptan.
