What is Curcumin Absorb?
Curcumin Absorb is a highly bioavailable curcuminoid formulation. It contains a unique combination of three bioactive, health-promoting curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin and demethoxy curcumin, along with turmeric oil. These three curcuminoids are the strongest, most protective and best researched constituents of the turmeric root.
Curcumin Absorb is manufactured utilizing a proprietary process which helps to optimize the absorption rate of the curcuminoids while reducing their absorption time. This process uses a proprietary blend of quillaja extract, along with delta- and gamma-tocotrienols and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), without the use of potentially harmful surfactants.

Can it be taken with thyroid medications?
Curcumin Absorb should be taken at least 30 to 60 minutes away from thyroid medications.
Does Curcumin Absorb contain oxalates?
Some turmeric products may contain high levels of oxalates and may not be suitable for those with oxalate issues. However, Rootcology’s Curcumin Absorb does not contain significant amounts of oxalates. It contains extracts of three curcuminoids, standardized at 95%, which are low in oxalates. Any oxalates potentially present in the remaining 5% at the recommended dose, would be insignificant.
I’ve heard that you need piperine in order to absorb curcumin, but I noticed that Curcumin Absorb does not contain piperine - will I be able to absorb the curcumin from this supplement?
Fortunately, we’ve been able to develop a formulation that could be an ideal alternative for those who do not tolerate piperine but still want to incorporate curcumin into their routine. Curcumin Absorb is a highly bioavailable formulation that contains a unique combination of three health-promoting curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin and demethoxy curcumin, along with turmeric oil. The three curcuminoids are the strongest, most protective and best researched constituents of the turmeric root. Naturally occurring turmeric root powder contains only 5-7 percent curcumin, while the blend in Curcumin Absorb is concentrated to contain 95 percent curcuminoids.
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have gallbladder issues, ulcers, blood thinning conditions, or GI inflammatory conditions. Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients in this supplement. Discontinue use at least two weeks prior to undergoing surgery.
