What is Amino Support?
Amino Support is formulated to help support the body’s natural cleansing process, providing nutrients that promote phase II of liver detoxification without stimulating phase I. (Phase I support may create toxic intermediates, and phase II eliminates those intermediates.)*
What are the benefits of Amino Support?
Amino Support contains nutrients that promote phase II detoxification without stimulating phase I, facilitate the normal excretion of toxins from the body, and promote overall wellness by supporting the body's natural cleansing processes.*
How does Amino Support support the liver’s detoxification phases?
Amino Support provides the amino acids that support phase II liver transformation pathways for detoxification, including glucuronidation, amino acid conjugation, and glutathione conjugation. It does not contain botanicals, minerals, or B vitamins that would also upregulate phase I detoxification, which may result in intermediate metabolites that can be more inflammatory than the original toxins. Providing nutritional support for phase II detoxification helps conjugate toxins and prepare them for safe elimination from the body.*
What is the recommended dose?
The recommended dose is six capsules per day.
When should I take Amino Support?
I recommend taking two capsules at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for a total of six per day.
How long can I take Amino Support for?
It’s recommended to take Amino Support for 1-2 weeks for liver support, or 2 months for gut cleansing.
Can Amino Support be taken with thyroid medications?
Amino Support should be taken 30 to 60 minutes away from thyroid medications. Testing your thyroid hormone levels every 30-90 days to see if a medication adjustment is needed, is recommended.
Can I take Amino Support with B vitamins?
If you wish to use Amino Support and B vitamins at the same time, it is recommended to take the B vitamins with food, and Amino Support without food.
