What is Garlic Oil? 
Garlic Oil softgels contain Garlicillin™, a blend of garlic and parsley oils, with specified levels of garlic sulfides and ajoene, the most biologically effective compound formed from garlic. These softgels have a special coating designed to reduce the strong garlic odor that may occur from supplementing with garlic, while the parsley oil acts as a natural breath freshener.*

What are the benefits of Garlic Oil?
Garlic Oil contains garlic sulfides which may support a healthy inflammatory response and protect against oxidative stress, plus ajoene which helps to promote a healthy inflammatory response, the maintenance of normal platelet function, and is responsible for many of garlic’s other historically recognized effects, such as inhibiting the normal overgrowth of unfriendly organisms, including bacteria, parasites, and fungi (yeast).

What is the recommended dose? 
The recommended dose is one capsule, twice per day.

When should I take it? 
This supplement should be taken with meals, at breakfast and dinner.

Can it be taken with thyroid medications? 
Garlic Oil should be taken at least 30 to 60 minutes away from thyroid medications. Testing your thyroid hormone levels every 30-90 days to see if a medication adjustment is needed, is recommended.

How long can I take Garlic Oil for? 
Garlic Oil can be taken for one to three months.

Are there any side effects that I should be aware of when taking Garlic Oil? 
Garlic Oil may cause platelet dysfunction, increased fibrinolytic activity, prolonged bleeding time, retrobulbar hemorrhage, postoperative bleeding, spinal epidural hematoma, gout and low back pain, dizziness, insomnia, headaches, diaphoresis, fever, chills, nausea, somnolence, increased appetite, euphoria, weight loss, asthma, sneezing, nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, and/or sinusitis.

Consult with a physician before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

DO NOT TAKE if taking the following medications: anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs, antidiabetic drugs, antihypertensive drugs, atazanavir, blood thinners, cytochrome P450 substrates (2E1, 3A4), isoniazid, protease inhibitors, saquinavir, and/or tacrolimus.
